POLICE are appealing for information after a motorist drove into a man after mounting the pavement.

Officers are investigating an incident that occurred on Jarrow Street, Barrow, on Sunday March 12 between 1.40pm and 2pm.

It is reported that a red car which potentially could have been a Citroen C1 mounted the pavement, drove at a male on the path and made contact with him.

Officers are looking to identify the male and check his welfare.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to this or anyone who may have any CCTV footage, doorbell footage or dashcam to come forward to assist us in identifying the vehicle involved.
