A BARROW woman has pleaded guilty to ABH against a child.
Neither the victim nor the perpetrator, who is in her 30s, can be named due to reporting restrictions on identifying underage victims of crime.
The woman received a suspended 18-month jail sentence when she appeared at Preston Crown Court after she pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, contrary to section 47 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861.
The assault happened in 2020.
