PATIENTS have been invited to have their say on the future of a Barrow surgery following closure concerns.

Uncertainty has surrounded the future of Liverpool House Surgery in Risedale Road for months following patients' concerns the practice was closing.

Earlier this month, the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) announced that it must decide whether to close the surgery after long-serving doctors Chris Green and Kathryn Robinson, who run the practice, announced their impending retirement.

The pair will retire at the end of June after a combined 59 years of service in the town.

A virtual session for people to tell the NHS how changes to Liverpool House Surgery in Barrow will affect them will take place on Thursday.

The event, which will be held on Microsoft Teams, will start at 6pm. Any patient of the practice is welcome to attend.
