MANY readers were unhappy about the new Starbucks in Ulverston opening, citing competition for local coffee shops.

The new drive-thru Starbucks opened at Beehive Business Park on Friday at 6am.

The new store has inside and outside seating areas, car parking, accessible spaces, toilets and a drive-thru lane.

The opening hours of the Ulverston Starbucks will be 6am to 10pm between Mondays and Fridays and 7am to 6pm on Sundays and bank holidays.
