Furness families were treated to an environmental show that unfolds - literally - from a suitcase.

SeedHeart tells the story of human impact on the environment and asks what we can do to restore our once-green planet.

The puppet show was performed single-handedly by Anna Ingleby of Indigo Theatre Company at the Coro, Ulverston, on Sunday, February 26.

The story begins with puppet Grey trapped inside a jar.

They try to remember how they got there and how they could be free.

Grey's journey to a better future includes magical pop-ups as well as puppetry - and lots of interaction from youngsters in the audience.

Although the show pulls no punches about the harm caused to the environment by human activity, it ends on a note of hope.

One primary school pupil said of the production: "At the end was how I want the Earth. Hope is what we need.

"I loved that you were speaking for the Earth, and you put all my thoughts into a heart-warming, lovely play."

Hull-based Indigo Moon Theatre, a children’s shadow puppet theatre company, has toured nationally and internationally to theatres, festivals and schools since 2001.

Their work combines traditions, techniques and styles from around the world, particularly from Europe and Indonesia.
