The Inn Collection Group launches its Give Inn Back campaign

Give Inn Back started an initiative in 2022, that grants £2,500 to each of it's sites across the north of England and North Wales, for the teams to choose causes in their local community to support.

£44,000 was awarded across the North East, Cumbria and North Yorkshire in the first year of the initiative, 27 causes received funds from 23 of The Inn Collection Group’s properties.

The fund will grow as 12 sites are reopening, ensuring even more support is offered across the estate.

In 2022, Cumbrian causes received over 40% of the groups fund. In 2023, the available fund, across 10 properties will total £25,000. 

Beneficiaries ranged from grassroots sports clubs, mountain rescue teams and Christmas lights in Coniston.

Give Inn Back is driven by the teams at The Inn Collection Group’s properties, they decide which organisations or endeavours to support.

Inns can donate to a charity of their choice, get behind a local community activity or support a colleague who either dedicates their own time to make a positive charitable change, or needs investment for a particularly exceptional endeavour.

With a bigger fund available in 2023, the company is looking to help an even broader range of organisations, and asks local causes to put themselves forward for consideration.

“We understand the responsibilities we have to support the communities where we have inns and by allowing our teams at the sites to determine how to award their Give Inn Back fund, we are able to do this in a really effective way.

“There were some brilliant causes helped in 2022 and we hope by inviting introductions in 2023 we will be able to help an even broader range of causes and activities.”
