A COURSE on abstract art will be available for those in Ulverston.
This six-week course is an opportunity for participants to try out various abstract art techniques and processes in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere under the guidance of the local artist Jess Levine.
The event organiser said: "Each week there will be a different focus and time to develop creative ideas.
"Specialisms explored together include acrylic painting, abstracted mark making and drawing, monoprint using a press, geli plate printing, collage, and mixed media.
"Sessions will draw inspiration from still life, architecture, elements of landscape and figurative aspects, and there will be links to contemporary abstract artists and schools of thought."
The course will start on Monday, March 6, from 6pm until 8.30pm until April 24 inclusive, excluding March 20 and April 10.
The course is taking place at The Coro and has a cost of £165, including all materials.
