AN INTERNATIONAL Women's Day event in Barrow is set to celebrate the diverse work and talent within the community.
Sister Hood 2023 is the name of the event taking place on March 11 at Barrow Underground Music Society.
From 12pm until 1am the event will comprise free international workshops, music and art.
It will include live performances of Squid, DJ Naomi Carole, Deatbeats, LP and Tif and more.
The organisers of the event said: "All artists on the day are local businesswomen and we will also be having a free "women's wall" at the event where local female-led businesses can place a flyer or business card on the day."
Refreshments will be available on the day.
All money raised in donations on the day will be given to the Love Barrow Families charity.
