Readers were 'gutted' to hear Barow Fiesta, a popular restaurant and takeaway is going to shut down.
It offered dishes from the Philippines, Italy, China, Mexico, Japan and India.
In a statement, Cavendish Street eatery Barrow Fiesta said: "After much consideration, we have decided to permanently close the restaurant and takeaway.”
Readers reacted with sadness on social media.
