A TWO-DAY camping festival focused on nature and wellness is set to make its debut this summer.

Youphoria Family Wellness Festival will be setting up camp in Fell Foot wood, Newby Bridge this August, it has been announced.

The two-day extravaganza has been curated by business-owner Hannah Houghton, who organises other music and wellness events across the north west.

Hannah, who runs Werk Emporium in Ulverston’s high street, decided to launch Youphoria as a chance for people to connect with nature and explore wellness whilst in beautiful South Cumbria surroundings.

The festival will feature workshops, healing treatments, DJ sets, dance classes, vegan food, arts and crafts workshops and much more for the family to enjoy together.

Hannah said: “This is a chance for people to connect with nature in the woodland, take part in various wellness workshops, have a healing treatment and dance and express ourselves to a variety of different DJs.

“Unlike other events like this, this is a safe space for families to rave together to connect with each other and share this experience which usually is a very separate thing parents don't get to experience with their kids.

“With sound baths, shamanic drumming circles, high vibe dance classes, cacao ceremony, kids dance, forest schools, upcycling, arts and craft workshops, DJs, vegan food, healers, camping and so much more!”

Youphoria Family Wellness Festival will take place between August 11 and 12.

Tickets are £75 per adult and £25 per child for the whole weekend. For information and tickets contact Hannah at h.houghton@live.com
