AHEAD of the start of Barrow Raider's 2023 Betfred Championship campaign, here is a round-up of all the club's pre-season coming and goings.

INCOMINGS:

Greg Burke - Salford Red Devils

The 29-year-old, who has spent much of his career in the Super League, joins on a two-year deal after featuring once for the Raiders on dual-registration last season.

Jack Wells - Salford Red Devils 

A product of the Wigan Warriors academy, he made 14 appearances in total for the Red Devils last year, scoring once.

He also featured twice for the Raiders in 2022. 

Greg Worthington - Halifax Panthers

Worthington featured 33 times for the Panthers, having joined the club ahead of their 2021 Championship campaign.

Luke Broadbent - Warrington Wolves

The full-back left Cumbria at age 16 to join Warrington and spent time on-loan in the county at Whitehaven and Workington Town.

Now he makes his homecoming and joins the club his father Gary also represented.

Rio-Osayomwanbo Corkill - St. Helens Reserves

The Nigerian international joins the Raiders following a successful trial period.

He scored six tries in ten appearances for the St. Helens reserves last season.

Hanley Dawson

The Loose Forward made 26 apperances over the last three seasons for Workington Town before leaving in April.

Andrew Bulman - Whitehaven

After four seasons as Winger at Cumbria rivals Whitehaven in which Bulman scored 45 tries in 67 appearances, he has swapped west for south Cumbria.

Ellis Archer - St. Helens

Barrow-born half-back Archer made his Super League debut for St. Helens in August 2023.

The 18 year old will continue his development at the Raiders and will compete for the starting shirt alongside Jarrod Sammut, Ryan Johnston and Jake Carter.

OUTGOINGS

Hakim Miloudi 

The Maverick centre played a pivotal role in the club return to the second tier, scoring seven times in 18 appearances and formed a potent partnership with winger Tee Ritson

Bradd Crellin - retired

Crellin began his career in 2010 at Whitehaven before moving to the Raiders in 2012.

In his eight seasons as a forward for the club, Crellin made 92 appearances.

He featured 14 times for the Raiders in 2022, scoring once.

Danny Morrow - retired

Seven years after joining the Raiders, Morrow has decided to hang up his boots.

Morrow joined the club from Walney ARLFC and made his debut in a 38-0 victory against Coventry Bears in April 2016.

Since then he has featured 78 times and scored 18 tries as a forward for the club.

In 2022, Morrow made five starts for Paul Carey's side, with a further eight appearances from the bench

Gary Wheeler

Wheeler'ss leaves the club following the expiry of his contract after appearing 11 times, nine of those coming in the 2022 campaign.

Carl Forster - North Wales Crusaders

Forster has been named the head coach of Betfred League 1 side North Wales Crusaders and will combine the role with his on-field duties.

Tee Ritson - St. Helens (Loan)

The 2022 Betfred Championship's top try-scorer and nominee for Player of the Year scored 70 tries in 73 appearances for the Raiders.

The Winger has now joined Super League outfit St. Helens on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal.
