THE latest figures revealing weekly Covid-19 deaths across South Cumbria have been revealed.
There were three more coronavirus deaths recorded over the latest weekly period in Barrow.
A total of 281 people had died in the area when the UK coronavirus dashboard was updated on December 15 (Thursday) - up from 278 on the week before.
They were among 27,619 deaths recorded across the North West.
The figures include anyone who died within 28 days of a positive test result for Covid-19, and whose usual residence was in Barrow.
By comparison, there was one coronavirus death recorded over the same weekly period in South Lakeland.
370 people had died in the area when the UK coronavirus dashboard was updated on December 15 (Thursday) - up from 369 on the week before.
