A MAN has told a court he received 500 death threats following 'false' allegations that he trafficked the 'fantasist' Eleanor Williams for sex.

Business owner Mohammed Ramzan was arrested for human trafficking following allegations made by the defendant.

Williams, 22, is standing trial accused of perverting course of justice by making false claims of trafficking and sexual assault.

Returning to the witness box at Preston Crown Court, Ramzan, also known as Mo Rammy, told jurors he had received hundreds of threatening messages following the claims made by the defendant and that his businesses had 'crumbled'.

And he was forced to explain a previous conviction for pouring petrol over his former wife and threatening to burn her.

He was questioned about allegations that he had taken Williams to have sex with several Asian men and attempted to sell her at an auction when she visited Amsterdam for her 18th birthday.

Asked by Louise Blackwell KC, defending, if he had 'taken her to a building where people were effectively bidding to have access to Miss Williams', he said no.

When asked if he had sold her for 25,000 euros, he said: "No, I didn't."

He also denied that he had told Williams to make a false account to the police about being taken to have sex with multiple Asian men in Blackpool.

Ms Blackwell also asked Mr Ramzan about two wraps of cocaine being found during a search of his Walney home.

He denied that he had ever used drugs on Miss Williams.

She said: "Miss Williams says that you have considerable contact and use of drugs.

Mr Ramzan said: "Your client is delusional - she's a fantasist."

Mr Ramzan also denied that he had 'bought drugs in order to use them upon Miss Williams'.

Asked if he allowed another man to pay to have sex with Williams, he said: "No... I don't know your client. Are you not listening?"

Ms Blackwell also asked Mr Razman if he had attended '100 parties' where young girls would have sex with older men.

He said: "I've never attended one, never mind 100."

Asked if he would arrange other parties that he did not attend, he said: "Absolute BS."

Ms Blackwell asked him about police visits to his former ice cream parlour Crav'n in 2017.

He said he was not aware of a visit in which a police officer had attended a noticed a number of teenage girls in the establishment 'who obviously weren't customers and were there for another purpose'.

He said he was not living in Barrow at the time due to the death of a family member and had not been made aware of the visit.

He denied this was how he gained access to young girls.

Ms Blackwell also brought up a Facebook post that appeared to be an advert for Mr Ramzan's ice cream van business.

She suggested there was a photo of three young girls in the ice cream van and Mr Ramzan was 'squirting sauce into their mouths'.

He said the photo had been taken by the children's mother at an event.

He denied he was squirting sauce into their mouths and, asked if there was anything sexual about it, said: "Not at all."

Ms Blackwell mentioned a previous conviction Mr Ramzan had for assault causing actual bodily harm, for which he was jailed.

She said he had poured petrol over his then wife and threatened to set her on fire.

He said: "I had a bad relationship with my previous partner."

He told the court he had thrown a petrol can at her and told her 'I hope you burn'.

Mr Ramzan said he immediately 'held my hands up' and admitted to the offence, which happened in 2007.

Ms Blackwell asked him if he was a man who 'does not mind being violent to women'.

He said: "No not at all. You're twisting this out of control. I've said it was a bad relationship.

"I've been with my wife for 12 years and there's never been any incident."

Mr Ramzan was then asked if he had done broadcasts online using Facebook Live and whether in one of them he posted an image of Williams from an account in her name on Only Fans, a website on which people can sell photos of themselves.

He said: "I've had over 500 message requests with death threats, I've had Tommy Robinson at my door, I've had thousands of messages so I set up and did a lot of Facebook Lives and they are still sitting there today."

He denied posting an 'unclothed' image of Williams, saying 'it was in a bikini'.

Prosecuting barrister Jonathan Sandiford KC asked Mr Ramzan whether he was still conducting children's parties, to which he said no.

"The business crumbled with all of the false allegations," Mr Ramzan said.

"I've had my ice cream van smashed, I've had my house smashed, I've had my cars smashed."

Williams, of Teasdale Road on Walney, denies seven charges of perverting the course of justice.

The trial continues.
