Cumbria Police have advised that the M6 is reduced to two lanes at M6 J38 (A685) as a motorist is changing a tyre.
The incident was reported at 9.25am Monday November 14.
A report on Cumbria Police traffic website states: "One lane closed due to vehicle having a tyre changed on M6 Northbound from J38 A685 (Tebay) to J39 B6261 (Shap). Traffic is coping well"
