OFFICERS from Cumbria Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault on a woman in a Barrow nightclub.
The incident occurred on Sunday, October 2 at around 12.58am at Hollywood Nightclub on Cavendish Street, Barrow.
The incident involved a woman and man. The woman, a 27-year-old, sustained bruising and two small cuts to her right eye.
A 31-year-old man who has been arrested for assault occasioning actual bodily harm has since been released under investigation.
Police are looking for any witnesses to the offence.
