CUMBRIA Police confirmed that they responded to reports of a break-in at The Crown pub in Walney

They released the following statement: 'Police are investigating a burglary at the Crown Hotel, Walney on Sunday 30th October between 2:42am and 2:54am.

The report is of a man approaching the property on a bike and entering the property. He is described as wearing a black hoody, black tracksuit bottoms and gloves.

He left on the bike around 2:54am.

Money was taken from the property.

Yesterday, The Crown pub put onto their social media that they had been broken into and someone had taken money from the till.
