Here's a round up of some events available this Halloween:

1. The BlueBell Pumpkin Ball is being held on Friday at Hawcoat Park, Barrow, from 7pm until late. Denis Horan Jr. is the DJ, with games, hot dogs, a raffle, a fancy dress competition and more. Early bird tickets start at £2 for kids aged 4-16 and £4 for adults.

2. This half-term week, Muncaster Castle is celebrating Halloween with a whole host of events.

3. The Swan Hotel, Newby Bridge, is calling all little monsters for a night of mischief, magic and madness at this year's Monster Mash on Thursday 27 and Monday 31 October. Monster Mash runs from 5p,-7pm and includes dinner and an Ultraviolet disco with tunes, suitable for all little horrors between three and 12-years-old, tickets are £10 per child and adults go free.

4. On Friday October 28 listen to some Twilight Tales and have fun with Halloween crafts at Learning Space at Wordsworth Grasmere from 4pm-5:30pm.

5. On Saturday October 29 from 4pm to 5:20pm, come see a Halloween Pantomime, a spooktacular reimagining of the classic fairy-tale Snow White at Crag Brow, Bowness. Ticket prices are £9.50 for adult and £8.50 for children, or enjoy a Spooky Afternoon Tea before the show, £30.00 for adults and £26.00 for children, this includes a show ticket, attraction visit and full Halloween themed afternoon tea with face painting and cast photo opportunity at 2.30pm.

6. On Saturday October 29 join Nick Sharatt's Halloween Drawalong at Brewery Arts, Kendal. The Drawalong starts at 2pm and finishes at 4pm, with tickets costing £9 per person.

7. Dalton Cricket Club is hosting a family Halloween party between 4pm-9pm on Sunday. The cricket club is holding a night of family fun, with games, a DJ and a Disco to sing and dance to. Tickets are £5 per person.

8. On Saturday October 29, Something Leisure Community Group presents "Dance of the Dead" Disco with The Crypt & Mortuary Movers. The adults only disco, at The Duke of Edinburgh Hotel in Barrow, runs from 7.15pm until late. Enjoy some Halloween Rock & Roll Bingo, Satan’s 666 Raffle, and a proper "Pie'n Peas" supper. Tickets are £18 per person, all proceeds go to Something Leisure Community Group, call 07368 426789.
