A FIVE-YEAR-OLD girl has called on the police and public to help find her lost toy.
Ruby, from Ulverston, contacted South Lakes Police after losing her Puppycorn toy around Oakwood Drive.
Although police no longer deal with lost and found property, officers are urging the public to keep an eye out for Ruby's much-loved toy.
A spokesman said: "She is very upset and asked for our help. Now we don't deal with lost and found property anymore but how could I say no? If anyone finds Ruby's toy please drop it in to the Blue Light Hub for the attention of PS Gareth Sargent and I will ensure it gets back to her!"
