THE Pumpkin Ball will return on Friday October 28, raising money for The Bluebell Foundation.
The Pumpkin Ball is an annual event that runs from 7pm until late at Hawcoat Park in Barrow. It has a disco by Denis Horan, who is also a patron of The Bluebell Foundation, and a fancy dress competition. There will be games, food (a hot dog is included in the ticket price), a lucky dip and a raffle.
Local businesses such as TNT Records, Mia Salon, Rusland Pool, the Duke of Edinburgh and Abbey House donated raffle prizes.
Tickets for children (4-16) are £3, adults are £5, and kids under 3 years old go for free. Tickets can be bought on the door or by emailing helen.gregory@bluebell.org.uk.
The Bluebell Foundation helps families who have lost children and children who have lost significant adults.
