A BARROW man is due to appear in court accused of using threatening words against a police officer and beating another man.
Rhys Cresswell, of Holcroft Hill, is alleged to have used threatening words against PC Matthews with the intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress on March 12 in Kendal.
The 22-year-old is also said to have assaulted Nathan McNeill by beating him on March 12 in Kendal.
Cresswell is set to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on Monday October 10 charged with the offences.
