A MAN has been fined for racially-aggravated harassment.
David Chapman used threatening, abusive or insulting words toward Raj Rai on October 25.
South Cumbria Magistrates' Court was told the incident happened in Lindale.
Chapman, 52, pleaded guilty to racially or religiously aggravated harassment when he faced magistrates.
The defendant, of Balmoral Avenue in Audenshaw, Manchester, was fined £768 by the court.
He was also ordered to pay compensation of £100 to the victim, as we as £77 victim surcharge and £85 in costs.
