HYGIENE inspectors have rated a McDonald's restaurant.
The new branch in Oubas Hill, Ulverston, was awarded the top score of five following a visit from food hygiene inspectors.
Inspectors said the restaurant was 'very good' when it came to food handling, the cleanliness and condition of the facilities and management of food safety.
The rating was released following the inspection by South Lakeland District Council on September 23.
The fast food restaurant opened in May following years of anticipation.
