No further deaths have been recorded
LATEST figures show that there were no more coronavirus deaths recorded over the latest weekly period in Barrow.
A total of 255 people had died in the area when the UK coronavirus dashboard was updated on Wednesday, August 17, which was unchanged from a week previously.
They were among 26,087 deaths recorded across the North West.
The figures include anyone who died within 28 days of a positive test result for Covid-19, and whose usual residence was in Barrow.
The release comes as a slight rise was recorded nationwide, as a total of 163,445 deaths were recorded throughout England by Wednesday, August 17 - up from 162,550 last week.
