Traffic on the A591
TRAFFIC is building up on a major road which leads to and from the motorway.
There are traffic delays on the A591 approach to Kendal, which connects the town to the M6 via the A590, before going on to connect the town to Windermere, Ambleside and Keswick.
One lane from almsot the M6, past Brettargh Holt and the turning to Kendal has been coned off to allow for grass cutting on the central reservation.
Motorists are warned traffic may also be affected at rush hour this evening.
