THIS MONTH's Wurlitzer Organ Concert at the Royalty Cinema in Bowness will feature music-maestro Cameron Lloyd.
The Royalty is the only functioning cinema in Europe to have an original Wurlitzer theatre organ.
Cameron taught himself to play after his parents bought him an electronic organ.
While attending a concert at Wolverhampton Civil Hall in 1998, he had a go on the Compton Organ installed there.
The next year he played at the famous Blackpool Tower Wurlitzer at 19 and his career took off from there.
Cameron plays regularly at The Kinema in the Woods, Lincolnshire, sometimes accompanying silent films.
He is currently the resident organist playing the 'Cannock Wurltizer' in Cannock, Staffordshire. He also plays at the Civic Hall Wolverhampton as Assistant Organist for dancing and other occasions.
The concert is on Tuesday 16 August and will last for two hours, tickets are £7.50 for adults and £3.50 for children.
