AN intrepid Barrow AFC fan will travel to every league 2 stadium in five days on buses, with no beds and no hotels.
Steve Herbert, chair of the Bluebirds Trust, the fan association for Barrow AFC will visit all 24 football clubs from Barrow.
- Day 1: Rochdale, Salford, Stockport and Tranmere.
- Day 2: Walsall, Newport, Swindon, Crawley, Gillingham.
- Day 3: Sutton, Wimbledon, Leyton Orient, Colchester
- Day 4: Crewe, Mansfield, Bradford, Grimsby, Doncaster, Harrogate, Hartlepool.
- Day 5: Carlisle, Barrow.
Steve will sleep on the buses as he travels around England and Wales.
He is doing this to raise money to 'improve access to sports for children and families in one of the UK's most income-deprived areas.'
The club said: "Culture provides important social and economic benefits. Access to sport and culture enhances our quality of life and increases overall well-being."
People can sponsor Steve's adventure on the Bluebirds' Trust website.
