A FAMILY event is due to take place before a town's annual carnival this weekend.
Ulverston Carnival's Family Fun Day, which will take place on Saturday, has a fun pre-event as Ralph Spours has his stocks again.
Be sure to be in front of The Farmers Arms on carnival morning in good time to get a
good position with the kids for the annual carnival sponsored stock, which starts at 11.00am precisely.
It will be accompanied by the Town Band, who will be playing at the Market Cross from 10.45am for an hour.
See the victims being pelted with soggy sponges and drowned with super soakers, all for free.
The victims include: Graham Dickinson; Martin Chapman; Colin Tregellis; Bob Needham; John McKeown; Simon Barton; James Higgins; John Davies; Tony Martinez; Gavin Clelland and Ralph Spours himself.
