A MAN acclaimed as one of the finest jazz musicians to emerge this side of the Atlantic is bringing his trio to entertain audiences in Ulverston.
Julian Joseph was the first Black British jazz musician to host a series at London’s Wigmore Hall, and the first to headline a late-night concert at the BBC Proms with his All Star Big Band.
Julian Joseph will be on the piano whilst Mark Mondesir plays drums and Mark Hodgson plays the acoustic bass.
Organisers of the event said: “We welcome Julian and his trio in this ‘in-the-round’ setting, with audience cabaret tables encircling the performers.”
The show will take place at The Coro on June 5.
