Windermere Ferry
DUE to 'essential maintenance' a vital ferry service will be out of action this morning (Wednesday, May 25).
It is hoped that the ferry will be back in service later the same day.
On social media, Windermere Ferry said: "Windermere ferry will be out of service for essential maintenance on Wednesday 25th May from 9am.
"We hope the ferry will be back in service later in the afternoon and will update Twitter throughout the day with our progress. We apologise for any inconvenience caused Team Mallard."
