A PENSIONER who breached a restraining order has been sentenced.
Nigel John Clayton admitted that he breached an order banning him from contacting a woman.
South Cumbria Magistrates' Court heard he contacted the victim in Barrow on May 14.
The 73-year-old was handed the order after he assaulted the woman in January.
Clayton, of Barrow's Steamer Street, has now been ordered to complete a nine-week curfew, keeping him at home between 7pm and 7am.
He was also told to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 in costs.
