Forest Green Rovers boss Rob Edwards says the league leaders are not underestimating Barrow AFC despite the Bluebirds' poor form.

The manager of today's visitors says Barrow have been "in every game" despite their run of defeats.

Forest Green are five points clear at the top of the table and have lost just once away from home all season.

But Edwards says struggling Barrow - without a point in four - can still be a threat.

"They've had a managerial change, Phil Brown who is very experienced has come in now, and they've got some good players," Edwards said.

"They'll be certainly fighting for everything right now.

"They're in a position where they need to pick up points. It's very tight in their stuation.

"They've been in every game recently. They've had some tight games and been right in them.

"They've maybe not put together a full 90 minutes as yet but they've been good for 45-minute spells and started games very well.

"We're well aware of what threats they pose and the challenges they present, but it's about what we do and how we acquit ourselves."

Forest Green are ten points clear of the play-off places and another win today can move them to the brink of promotion.

By contrast the Bluebirds are only outside the relegation zone on goal difference with six games left to play.

Edwards, whose squad trained in Birmingham on their way north yesterday, added in a club interview: "This now becomes the biggest game of the season, all our focus is Barrow.

"We're aware of what's down the line but all our focus is on the next game, the next 45 minutes even."
