Max Moore was the star for Barrow Island as they came away from Dudley Hill victorious 24-10.

It was scoreless until the half hour mark, then Moore raced in for a spectacular 90 meters try, Adam Jackson converted and the Island led 6-4 at the break.

Island maintained their lead with Moore completing his hat-trick with Blain Marwood also crossing the line, Jackson added a further three goals.

Millom were also winners: they trailed at the break 16-12 to Oldham St Anne’s but ran out winners scoring 16 unanswered points.

Tries came via Jordan Moyes, Jack Proctor, Kyle Evans, Rio McQuiston, and Tyler Lancaster with Jonty Peters adding four goals.

Roose Pioneers came out on top over West Houghton Lions at Redwaters by 38 points to 24.

Tries came from Jordan Aston, Tom Farren 2, Josh Tranter, Rob Shepherd, Jack Torkington and Liam Armistead.

Goals came via, Tranter 3 and Sam Beattie 2.

Ulverston won a closely fought game with Folly Lane 18-10 at Dragley Beck.

Tries came from Evan Foster, Kieron Potter and two from Jack Stephenson with one goal by Connor Saunders.

Hindpool came from behind to defeat Walney 36-34 after trailing at the break 22-10.

Finn Goodings crossed for a hat-trick with other tries from Tom Heighton, Kier Sharp, Jack Osman and Ethan Harkin with Grant Burns adding four goals.

Walney's points scorers were three tries from Jordan Staffieri, two from Elliot Bibby and one each from John Bell and Dave Nicholson, who added one goal, with two from George Nichols.
