A BIN strike that could affect more than 30,000 Barrow homes is set to take place tomorrow.

According to GMB Union, more than three quarters of the work force will down their tools after refuse collectors working for FCC Environment voted unanimously to walk out.

It comes after conflict over pay negotiations between the union and FCC Environment.

The strikes will take place from March 9-11 and then March 16-18, affecting more than 33,000 households.
