A BARROW cricketer has paid a touching tribute to sporting legend Shane Warne.
England cricket player Liam Livingstone has described Warne as his 'idol growing up'.
Warne died of a suspected heart attack on Friday.
Liam took to social media to share what the cricket legend meant to him.
He said: "The day I get my kit, with my new squad number, all came from one man, my idol growing up, the reason I bowl leg spin and the reason I now wear 23. Sad day for the world of cricket. RIP Shane Warne a true cricketing legend."
