A CUMBRIAN celebrated a big win when they got the chance to take part in an ITV programme.

The woman, known only as Joanne, was the first person to be called by hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during This Morning’s Spin to Win segment.

The rules state that after receiving a call from the This Morning duo the person must pick up and immediately say the password. If they pause or say something else, the call will be ended.

Upon answering the phone, Joanne cheerfully said “Izzy wizzy, let’s get busy” – the iconic catchphrase of Sooty of The Sooty Show and Sooty and Sweep.

Joanne told Phil and Holly about the dreary weather facing Cumbria today, to which Phil replied: “Hopefully we will cheer you up, you will definitely, regardless of anything else that happens, you’ve definitely won £750. Hopefully we’ll lift that up a little bit more.”

When faced with the option of spinning Phil’s wheel or playing with Holly’s balls, Joanne chose the wheel.

Joanne was delighted when the wheel landed on a generous £1,000, shouting “thank you very much”.

They also gave her the opportunity to win a bonus prize, ‘the big bag of shizzle’, which includes goodies like a This Morning mug and a bag of sweets.

To get her hands on the bag she had to recall what classic dish Gino was going to make on the next segment, and what ingredient would not be making it into the dish.

Joanne responded with “carbonara” and “ham”, meaning that the goodies were all hers.
