AN Award-winning playwright and musician is hosting a talk about his first novel at Ulverston library.

Mark Tuohy is a musician living and writing in Cumbria and will be visiting Ulverston library on Wednesday, March 2 from 3pm to talk about his first novel, ‘The Tide’ with a second recently completed.

Narrated in Michaels highly individual voice and told with warmth an humour, The Tide is the story of a young man making sense of the world, coming back and from the bring embracing life again.

When Michael jumps into the Thames it is only the beginning of his story, he is about to embark on a journey that will take him to London to the west of Ireland. The people he meets and the discoveries he makes along the way will help him turn his life around.
