BARROVIAN'S who were promised 'the best night they've had in a long time' raised the roof at a Barrow bingo hall.

TV and radio host Ryan Swain gave the crowd a night of unconventional bingo followed by a DJ set, playing some of the best club classics and offering something for everything.

Bingo-goers headed to Apollo Bingo on Saturday night in a bid to win prizes such as celebrity cardboard cut-outs during the No Limits Bingo.

The bingo event, which originated in Barrow, saw lots of singing and dancing taking place throughout the night.

Ryan hoped to bring positivity after a tough couple of years for people, even giving everyone at a previous No Limits Bingo event free tickets to his show.

He said that he felt like the pandemic had hit the whole arts and entertainment industry 'massively'.

He said: "It has hit everybody in a different way and I feel 2022 is when people are looking for positivity and for something to go to and let their hair down."

Ryan said his shows are all about the 'good vibes and good energy', and hoped that people would have 'the best night that they've had in a long time' at the show.

The event was described as 'magnificent' by Ryan.

He said: "It was a magnificent night which was filled with comedy, bingo and music.

"The crowd had a fabulous time."
