THE return of comedian Roy 'Chubby' Brown is continuing to divide the community.

The stand-up comedian who has been performing all across Britain in a career spanning since the 1970s will be performing at The Forum on March 10.

‘Chubby’s’ sarcastic blue humour, which often pokes fun at disabled and ethnic audience members, has caused a number of his shows to be cancelled across the UK.

Steve Irvine said: "It's peoples personal choice, it's not being forced on anyway, simple snowflakes stay away, the world is to judgemental but only in certain scenarios."

Sayhowifeel said: "They're not jokes when it's about people's lives."

Jackie Henderson said: "He is absolutely not my taste but those that enjoy his humour should be able to watch him. Nobody is forced to buy a ticket."

Sue Park Evans Burniston said: "If you don't like his jokes stay at home or if you're easily offended stay at home. He is what he is."

Charlie Dowthwaite said: "This show should not go ahead."

Kerry Hardman said: "I think that the easily offended should not go, it's comedy for goodness sake. If you don't like it, stay at home. No one is forcing anyone to buy a ticket."

Helen Cummings said: "I don't like him but i wouldn't want it cancelling. Loads of people do like him and that’s what matters.

"I used to like him but he goes too far now.”

"Why should they be deprived of seeing his show because some others are offended? Everybody knows what he’s like so if it’s not your cup of tea don’t go. It’s a simple solution."

Dalton said: "If you don't like him don't go. We all have different opinions but it appears some are not allowed to express them at the risk of offending." Jessie Critch said: “I wouldn't pay to go to the end of the street to see him, I don’t know why he's still entertaining.”

Karen Beecroft said: "Everyone knows what he is like, don't go if you don't like him. Problem solved."
