WARNING: Beware of fake emails
CUMBRIA Trading Standards are warning people to stay vigilant after reports of fake scamming emails are circulating.
A spokesman for Cumbria Trading Standards said: “Watch out for fake emails claiming to be from McAfee.
“Action Fraud received more than 700 reports in three days.
“You can help to remove malicious emails and websites like these by forwarding suspicious emails to: report@phishing.gov.uk.”
