APPROVED: A proposal has been approved to open a new dog boarding facility in Barrow
PLANS have been approved for a new dog boarding facility to open in Barrow.
Plans put forward to Barrow Borough Council to open a dog boarding facility at Thwaite House in Hawthwaite Lane have been given the thumbs up.
The plans propose changing the use of the property from residential into dog boarding and also constructing an external dog run area.
According to the plans, the applicant and their partner would be running the business together, and there wold be no further employment created initially.
The facility is proposed to be open seven days a week and the dogs will be supervised constantly with adequately trained staff and CCTV will be provided.
