LOCATION: Park Knott Retreat, Askam
PLANS to demolish a stable block and clear a site for two caravans for holiday use have been approved.
The site on Park Knott Retreat, just off the A595 in Askam, has been approved by Barrow Borough Council to be cleared.
The agent David Tyson said two chalets/caravans will be put onto the site and be used for holiday purposes.
Clearing the site will also make room for more parking spaces - the number of available spaces will go up from 10 to 14.
The council said it must not be used for a main place of residence.
