UNTIL we get our rock bands and music festivals returned to us The Mail will take you back to the musical scene of Barrow.
In 2014, the band Ever Young performed on stage at the Family Fun Weekend in Barrow Park before an excited audience of fans and residents.
In 2015, Barrow Sixth Form College’s Student Union organised an end of exams celebration called Summer Send Off. The band ‘When all Else Fails’ performed to celebrate with the sixth form.
In the same year, St Bernard’s Catholic High School in Barrow performed West Side Story featuring band members Liam Murphy, Naomi Nugent, and Abe Brown. Also, the Diamond-Eye Jacks began recording a song at Furness College as part of a project with new year's media degree student course.
