Barrow AFC are offering FREE tickets to emergency services as a thank-you for their efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Bluebirds have set aside an allocation of free tickets for the clash with Mansfield Town on Saturday, January 22.

Barrow say it is a show of gratitude to those in the NHS, Police and Fire & rescue services.

The free tickets are available to be claimed by local workers from those services on a first-come, first-served basis, one ticket per person.

"The club has been keen to give something back to those who, during the COVID-19 crisis, have helped keep the local community safe," the Bluebirds said.

General manager Alisha Henry added: “As a club, we wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone in the emergency services in Barrow.

“We all know how tough the last 18 months have been for everyone but hopefully this gesture can help us give a little something back to those who have done so much to help us all and show our gratitude for their efforts.”

Those who wish to claim a free ticket must do so in person at the Dunes Hotel Stadium in advance of the Mansfield fixture, by showing the relevant identification and proof of job.

The deadline for emergency service workers to redeem tickets is 4pm on Friday, January 21. The tickets cannot be claimed on the day of the game.
