BARROW Raiders will host Workington Town in a pre-season friendly ahead of their 2022 Betfred Championship campaign.
The clash will be the first of our pre-season schedule, set to take place on January, Sunday 9, with a 3pm kick-off, and completes the pre-season schedule for Paul Crarey’s side.
The game against Workington last season led to a 24-24 draw at the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium so it will be an early test for the squad which has been rejuvenated after multiple signings in the off-season.
Barrow Raiders will also host Newcastle Thunder (January Sunday, 16) and North Wales Crusaders (January Sunday, 23) ahead of our Championship season opener against Sheffield Eagles on January, Sunday 30.
Tickets will be announced in due course for our pre-season friendlies, while tickets are available online for our league opener.
