THE police have revealed the number of incidents they attended in the Millom area last month.
A spokesman for Cumbria Constabulary said: "During October, we have attended 89 incidents in Millom and the surrounding areas.
"Almost a quarter of these incidents (21) relate to vulnerability in which we as your local policing team have dealt with and implemented appropriate safeguarding measures.
"A key part of our work is to protect vulnerable people and we work closely with our partner agencies to ensure the best possible support for vulnerable people across our area.
"We will be out on foot patrol throughout November talking with residents and local businesses. Please feel free to discuss any concerns you have with one of our officers or PCSOs."
Police will be out on patrol on the following dates:
- November 14: Remembrance Day Parades
- November 15: Bootle & Seascale - PCSO Booth & PCSO Rafferty.
