Person rescued from river
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a person from a river at the weekend.
At 00:17 hours on October 31, one fire engine attended an incident on Bank End, Haverigg.
Fire service personnel rescued one casualty from the river and transferred them into the care of paramedics from North West Ambulance Service.
Firefighters were detained for approximately sixty minutes.
