A POP star will release her new album this Friday.

Barrow star, Niko will release her new album: ‘Electric Union’ this Friday.

Succeeding her debut 'Life on Earth' and follow-up 'Hate & Love', Electric Union sees Niko pursuing a more focused dance / electro-lounge soundscape where her delicate vocal melodies marry thick beats, gritty synth bass and layers of abstract keyboards.

Based in Barrow-in-Furness, but originally from Seattle, the pop star has recorded her 3rd album with the producer AIM.

Facing near paralysis in 2019, the record sees Niko bounce back to create this life affirming new record.

Channelling the sounds of Roisin Murphy, Chemical Brothers or Robyn, Niko’s new record adopts a greater dance focus and pushes the the trademark sound she defined in acclaimed previous efforts 'Life on Earth' and 'Hate & Love’.

NIKO recently released: "The Palace Discotheque”, the second single from NIKO’s forthcoming new album 'Electric Union’. Upping the tempo and getting all ‘electronic’ the track is built on a foundation of pulsing bass and Linn Drum-ish beats with layers of intricate micro melodies and synthetic vocals.
