A WOMAN who breached Covid restrictions by being in a car with people from outside her household has been fined by a court.
Janet Quayle was said to have committed the offence in Barrow on February 27.
The area was under Tier 4 restrictions at the time.
The 47-year-old was fined £1,760 for the offence by Carlisle Magistrates' Court.
She was also told to a victim surcharge of £176 and prosecution costs of £85.
Quayle was convicted of the offence under the Single Justice Procedure and did not appear in court.
