PUB goers will get the chance to scratch and win for their favourite charity as a new initiative is launched by a Cumbrian pub group.
A scratch card will be handed out with every food bill over £10 between October 25 and December 31 at venues across the county that are operated by Lakeland Inns.
Prizes will include Lakeland Inns vouchers worth up to £50, free food, weekend breaks, discount vouchers for future meals - and £50 donations to a charity of the winner’s choice.
Operations Manager Charlotte Hargan said: “We’ve had such a busy summer period and wanted to find a way of thanking our loyal customers for their support and custom.
“The scratchcard initiative is a way of doing that, whilst also donating much-needed funds to good causes. We’re looking forward to January when we hope there will be a sense of anticipation in the air as customers return with their scratchcards to reveal what prize they have won.”
Everyone who participates in the initiative will be a winner, as long as they stick to the golden rule and don’t scratch their card too early or without a Lakeland Inns team member being present.
Lakeland Inns has five pubs across Cumbria: The Sun in Ulverston; The Commodore in Grange, The Black Cock in Broughton-in-Furness, The Clarkes Hotel, in Rampside and The Royal Oak in Curthwaite, Carlisle.
