THE LAKE District has been named the best UK destination for an unforgettable 'babymoon'.
Flowercard has ranked destinations across the UK, based on factors such as the number of romantic hotels, restaurants, and couple activities, to create the ultimate babymoon index and reveal
the UK’s best babymoon destinations.
A honeymoon break is a traditional staple of most newly-married couples, but babymoon breaks are the latest trend to dominate the holiday industry, with parents-to-be enjoying a final child-free getaway before nappy changes and pushchairs take over.
The overall best destination for couples to enjoy a babymoon getaway is the Lake District, scoring 7.75 out of 10.
The research showed that the Lake District is home to the most romantic hotels - 360.93 per 100,000 people, has the most things to do for couples - 62.72 per 100,000 people, and has the highest number of romantic restaurants - 46.85 per 100,000 people.
